NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS:
Smoke Testing of Sewer Lines in Dante - April 9, 2025
The Russell County Public Service Authority will be conducting smoke testing on the sewer system in the Dante area on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. The Testing will cover the area from the Bunch Town Lift Station to the intersection of Straight Hollow Road.
Important Information for Residents:
- What is Smoke Testing? Smoke testing is a method used to identify potential issues in the sewer system, such as leaks or blockages.
- What to Expect: During the testing, you may notice smoke in the air. If you observe smoke inside your house, this indicates a potential problem with your sewer traps or vents. Smoke rising from your yard may suggest an issue wit the sewer line.
- Action Required: If you see smoke inside your home or in your yard, please contact a PSA employee immediately to report the issue.
